Why would you come to the mountains of Queenstown with Ben, Bel and I?

Here’s why:
I really admire great wordsmiths. I’m not a great wordsmith. Occasionally if I’m in an emotional extreme, I might come out with something inspired, clever and poetic, but otherwise I’m happy to borrow from the greats (as you can tell from all the quotes I sprinkle through my posts here).
I always try and learn from the best. From someone getting the results that I want. Living the life that I want. Success leaves clues.

Now I was recently watching John Wayne in the classic movie ‘Sands of Iwo Jima’ as he addresses new marines as their Sergeant and he communicates it better:
“You’re gonna be my squad. Three of us have seen action. You’re gonna learn from us. In boot camp, you learned out of a book. Out here, you gotta remember the book and learn a thousand things that have never been printed, probably never will be. You gotta learn right and you gotta learn fast.”
So if anyone wants to learn from 3 people who walk their talk.

Anyone who might want to learn more and start their journey of:
- metabolic optimisation
- mitochondrial rejuvenation
- brown fat increasing

- warrior diets
- anthrpological life ways
- natural movements and yoga

All taking place in the magical wilderness around the mountains and lakes of Queenstown, Arrowtown and Wanaka.

Then those people would consider making the effort to come.

Because its in the taking of action and in the enthusiasms, that all the gains are made.

And again, that’s said better by the great Theodore Roosevelt (in perhaps my favourite quote of all time):
“It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.”
