Turmeric Useful in Cancer 24 August 2010

A study published in the August 2010 edition of the journal Archiv Der Pharmacie has reviewed the scientic evidence of curcumin (a component of the herb turmeric) and found sufficient evidence of its anti-cancer effect that they recommended phase 2 and 3 research especially for multiple myeloma, pancreatic cancer and colon cancer.

Take home message: Super herb #1- garlic. Super herb #2 olive leaf extract. Super herb #3- TURMERIC. I have a pot of organic turmeric in my kitchen and I throw it in as much as I can. It’s especially good in soups, stews and of course curries. Makes food taste deliciously exotic and is powerfully anti-carcinogenic (particularly colon, myeloma and pancreas). It is also useful in preventing pathogenic bacteria from establishing in the gut. Start throwing it around with abandon!
