Eyelid Twitching 12 August 2009
Muscle twitching usually occurs in the legs and is caused by a magnesium/calcium imbalance. It is different again to blepharospasm. Blepharospasm is very fine twitching of the eye lid muscles (usually the lower eyelid). In my experience it is NOT caused by magnesium deficiency. Instead it is related primarily to food allergies, fungal mycotoxins and an increased body burden of mercury. Treatment involves:
- The determination and elimination of food allergies.
- Decreasing the body burden of mercury.
- Repairing any gut dysbiosis.
- Alkalinising the body to eradicate fungal infections
- Reducing stress
