Calcium D-Glucarate 27 July 2009
Calcium D-Glucarate (CDG) is another great reason to make sure there are a lot of grapefruits, broccoli and brussel sprouts in the diet. These fruits and vegetables are all rich in CDG which helps prevent cancer by:
- Supporting detoxification of environmental toxins by the liver (glucuronidation is one of the detox pathways)
- Preventing DNA mutation.
- Decreasing ostrogen levels by decreasing the amount reabsorbed from the bowel.
