Avocados are one of natures gifts. They are full of healthy monousaturated fats which are crucial for health and even important for weight loss. This is because they help buffer metabolic and dietary acids- the true cause of weight gain. Avocados contain compounds that lower heart disease risk, prevent cancer and diabetes. They are high in vitamins and minerals. They contain very little sugar and are therefore an alkaline fruit. They are 80% fat and 10-15% protein.
