- Detoxification of heavy metals and other environmental toxins.
- Alkalinisation and eradication of chronic infections (especially fungus).
- Balancing of hormones.
- Attain inner peace.
His main clinical interests are:
- Acid:alkaline balance and the role of chronic systemic fungal infections in health and illness (mycology).
- Adrenal and thyroid disorders, particularly the management of adrenal fatigue and subclinical hypothyroidism.
- Food and chemical sensitivity.
- Chronic toxic metal poisonings (such as mercury and lead), particularly the use of intravenous and oral chelating agents in common degenerative diseases.
- Anti-Aging medicine, particularly maintenance of youthful hormone levels and prolongation of anabolic metabolism with physiological doses of bioidentical hormones.
Dr Emerson regularly lectures both within Australia and internationally on Nutritional and Environmental medicine. He also runs his own successful international medical conference.
